Mad for Trad: where to get and will it run?

Can anyone tell me any retailers in the US that carry this CD-ROM that would let me return it if it doesn’t work? The reason I ask is, I was unable to play the test clip I downloaded from their site, and they haven’t responded to either of the two emails I sent asking for assistance (grr!), so I’m not very confident in them. If I hadn’t heard such good things about it, and more importantly if I weren’t such a huge Flook fan, I would give up, but I’d really like to see Brian Finnegan’s approach to whistle playing up close…

BTW, I’m planning (hoping) to run this on an iBook running system10.2.8, can anyone tell me from experience if that will be sufficient?

Don’t imagine you would have a problem. I have this set and it’s not bad. I like it though more for watching his performances than anything else.

I’ve got the MFT tenor banjo tutorial loaded right now on my iBook with OS10.3.2, i haven’t had any problems with it. It basically runs off the web browser, the vids are mpeg files so if anything you might need to upgrade Quicktime – but i’m running an older version of QT as well, again no problems seeing the video.

Thanks for the help, everyone! I’ll get in touch with Ossian US and see about getting it from them. I figured watching Brian Finnegan up close might be the best part, but esp. if theirs close-ups, in slow-mo, that would probably be worth it. Thanks!
