I’ve been thinking of trying this out and I’m wondering if anyone has one, but has moved beyond it and is willing to sell.
Thanks.

I had a Zouk tutor if anyone was interested, but I just sold it.
I am hoping to find the flute tutor. Thanks.
Elderly Instruments www.elderly.com carries the MadforTrad tutorials.

Thanks, Micah. I’m still holding out for the flute tutorial.

After giving this some thought, I decided that I should support for the Mad for Trad folks and not try and get a used tutorial. The people involved in Irish trad is a relatively small group of people worldwide and we should show support for each other as much as possible. I’m withdrawing my request and I’ll order it from them. Thanks.

In my opinion ( for what its worth ) the flute tutor is really good value considering the cost of a tutor and you can go through it at you own pace and review as often as you like.
Cheers
I’ll second what Domino says, the tutor is great value. There’s plenty of tunes to get your teeth into and lots of good tips on ornamentation - I’m sure you’ll love it.
Cheers

Micah - When did you last see the flute tutoral at elderly? I just went and ran a search and a check - no go. Any other suggestions?

Bill:
I think Ossian USA carries the MadForTrad tutors now; you might try there (don’t have the web address handy, but a quick search should find it).
That said, I ordered mine from the MadForTrad website a while back, and it came about a week later, so the wait’s not long for the overseas shipping.

When I ordered mine from MadForTrad.com, they sent an e-mail saying that it would be mailed the next day and they gave me a password so I could download the first lesson from their web site.
Again, I felt the need to give them my support.

Billg,
I’m not sure why they’re so hard to find on the website, but if you search under the instructors name, the tutorial will come up. Or if you look under “Accessories” and then “Software,” all the MadforTrad tutorials are there. (They cost $35, by the way.)
Here’s the flute tutorial:

And the whistle tutorial:

I went to MadForTrad site and bought it there. They sent me a name and password and I downloaded the first lesson. Thanx for bringing up this topic.

Got my “MadForTrad” disc yesterday and it is superb! Much more on it than on the site with the password. I recorded the first six tunes and am working them to death using the videos and dialogue. Great stuff! Sorry only in that he (Seamus Egan) sounds so good and I do not – yet!!!

I ordered the box tutor from MFT them two days ago and have yet to recieve a password or email from them. I got a confirmation about the payment from worldpay and i emailed MFT yesterday and haven’t gotten a response. How long did it take you all to get an email from them? Thanks
I don’t recall how long it took, but I think it was pretty fast, maybe a day or so. I did notice a few weeks ago that my password to the “members only” section no longer worked (I’ve only used it maybe twice). I sent MFT an e-mail, but did not receive a reply…
I hope this helps.
