I bought Micah’s used MadforTrad CD-ROM tutorial. It arrived yesterday afternoon, and wow, it’s worth every penny! It’s got great tunes and starts at the beginning. I consider myself a beginning-to-intermediate player, but the harder of the ornamented beginner tunes, plus the advanced section, will keep me busy for months to come. The tutorial shows the sheet music, as well as .mpg files of the instructor playing the tunes. This should satisfy the sheet music learners, as well as the by-ear folks, and the ones who use both, like me. It’s the closest thing to having a teacher in person you can get.

If you’ve been thinking about getting MFT, go for it, you won’t be sorry IMO.
