Until recently a Google search on “Chiff” would produce a list of hits with Chiff & Fipple as the first entry.
Now Chiff & Fipple appears third in the list.
Does this mean that C & F’s status as a world power is waning? Should we be selling our stock?
I don’t wish to cause a panic, as I fully appreciate the effect a run on C & F shares would have on the US economy, but I think we ought to know.
No doubt the President and CEO, Mr Wisely, will have some words of re-assurance in his next annual ‘State of the Corporation’ address. 
Holy Mackerel! It’s worse then that. It comes up with different results depending on if you use quotes and spaces in the search!!!
