It seems like whenever I type a message and click on Say, my screen just freezes. I don’t know whats wrong. Help!

I can’t seem to get the hang of it either. I did manage to chat a bit a couple of days ago but I can’t really figure out whose there and if they’re just not answering me or what…I think this is another case of duh! Gm
I think a coulpe people, like our board admin Rich, try to stay connected to the chat room most of the time. That doesn’t mean they are actually available to chat. I’ve heard of several people having “invisible response syndrome”, even while I’ve been in the room with them. Any ideas Rich?
Also, tots, it is sort of like the old chat room in that you have to hang around a while until someone else comes in. If you just flash in and out, you don’t have much chance of catching anyone home. Look forward to chatting with you again.
When I tried it there were at least two other people there who said they could see my messages, but I couldn’t see any responses. In my case I imagine it’s just the MSN TV browser I’m using - it’s incompatible with lots of things

It works just fine for me. I us IE 5 on an old pentium II running Windows NT 4.0 if that’s of any consequence.
browsers may be the issue–newer versions have more support for chat. I use Netscape 6 and have no trouble at all with this chat.
I figured it was either me or my browser at work, which does occasionally refuse to cooperate if I’m not doing actual work business.
