C'mon! Why isn't anyone chatting.

There are some users online. But no one is chatting. Talk to meeeeeeee…

Usually the main bulk of chatters are on from about 6:00 PM to about 2:00 AM, Central time.

I’ve been chatting in the chatroom for about a year…and we have the greatest time in there. In addition to sharing great info ON TOPIC we get into some great OFF TOPIC discussions. Would be cool to have some new chatters join us. I have often wondered where all the South Western Ontario whistlers are. I can’t be the only one?

I think the Chiffy Chatters are the most quizent folks anywhere!!

Moonlight, I only chat in the winter months and usually run the chat screen on another workstation when I’m working off desk at night. I don’t have enough time when at home to sit at a computer, especially after sitting in front of one for seven hours a day. But in the summer hours of our library by the time everyone starts to chat, I’m on my way home or somewhere else.

Oh I live in Windsor

MarkB

I`m just to old, slow and stupid to keep up with chat. :boggle:

Tom

Oh please…just get your butt in there some night and have fun!

Robin

Thats what I like about you Robin, your so subdued.
I guess I`ll have to give it another shot.

Tom

Tom, I would appreciate your presence in the chatroom if only to help me keep the atmosphere there mature and sedate. There are some (I don’t want to name names…okay then: Alan) who must be reminded to rise above the temptation to be raucous and attempt to stay on the very relevant ITM topics which I try so hard to introduce. It’s easy to get frustrated when some (okay then: energy, Carol, Lark, and others) go off on their mindless tangents about nothingness, but with gentle persuasion I’m able to bring them back onto the musical topic at hand. I do feel sometimes, though, as if I’m working against the odds, and could use your help. (Oh, and if you do come into the chatroom, would you please bring a cookie sheet, 3 lbs. of axle grease, a No. 2 pencil, and some dental floss? Bloomfield and I have an idea.)
Susan

Our chiffy chat room is a calm, nice, relatively non-trashy place to be compared to some of the public chat rooms. If you’ve tried those and were turned off chat, please try us anyway.

Nancy

It’s relative, eh?

Decided to patch up the old marriage, I take it! Good for you!

So I guess I am bringing the peat moss, the coffee filter and dumb bells? I know Alan always has some PVC pipe handy. All we need now is an electrical outlet for the hairdryer in the chatroom… Rich?

Tata for now.

I agree Susan..there is just no controlling some people (looks at Alan). I’m glad I have been able to do my small bit to bring to the chat room experience the wholesomeness and class so many have come to expect from me…have any of you seen my knitting needles?

You left them on the settee, Moon.

*Alan plucks the needles from his hide…

:really:

Alan

Mmm… good nachos. That was some mighty fine knitting! I tell you what.

Okay, Chatsters…

My son tripped over the phonecord (yup, I still have dial-up) and yanked every wire out of the modem. I’m chatless until I get it fixed. The only computer I have access to now is at work and no one is chatting then. :frowning:

Until I can get it fixed, my email still works…

Bert

I’ll knit you up some more nachos tonight Walden. Extra spicy cajun nachos right? Oh, and I may need to borrow the Waldco two- in-one hands- free power drill/pressure washer combo so could you bring it tonight?
Hope you can drop in sometime MarkB…
Bert…hope to see you soon and Blackbeer..where are you?
Hmm..have I civered everythong niw? ( that’s gaelic, by the way)

I go in the chat room sometimes, but I usually can’t figure out what they’re chatting about at all! I can’t even tell if it’s OT or not. But I’ll keep trying, maybe I’ll catch on. :boggle:

To catch on, stay up too late and drink too much coffee. It works like a charm.
