Se Mo Laoch - Mick O'Connor

I would love to watch this, but the video won’t play for me. Why is it that the www.TG4.tv stuff that I REALLY want to see never works? :swear:

I can get it thru the AOL site…

URL?

Both AOL (www.aol.com) and Firefox (www.firefox.com) worked…when used as browser…then went to the flute forum and used your link, then selected the video…at first I thought it wasn’t working…took a while to set itself up even on broadband connection…

Sigh… Maybe it will work from home. Some of the other videos work, though. This one says “Cannot open. Please verify that the path and filename are correct and try again.” I thought maybe you knew of a mirror site elsewhere.

It works for me now… Wow, video of Tommy Potts! Shame on RTE for not putting that on Come West Along The Road!!

Come West has in the past shown quite a bit of Potts’ playing as videoed by Michael O S. at Glenstal abbey. The programme is now in it’s 11th season so you may have missed a few.

I realize that. I should have been more specific and mentioned the DVDs. I think I’ve seen every Siar An Bothar that has been on tg4 since I discovered it (MANY thanks to you Peter!) but I haven’t been fortunate enough to see any with Tommy yet.

I did catch the RTE archive of the obituary program on him a few months ago. That was gorgeous.

The program airs on RTE first, TG4 is always a series or so behind. You can catch the present series on the fridaynights 7.30 local time. The first three of the current (11th) series have aired so far.

Se mo Laoch has Tommy Peoples this week, Matt Molloy is on that one, if you’re into that at all.

I still want to see the Roger Sherlock one, but it never ends up in the archive after it airs.

William-

Thanks for posting this as it’s been a while since I checked out the website. This was great stuff!
