Pipers in Northern California

I’m a beginning piper who lives in Northern California. I know of the excellent piper’s club in San Francisco, but SF is 3 1/2 hours away, so I was wondering if there is anyone nearer to me with whom I could meet up every couple of weeks or so. The nearest cities to me are Yuba City/Marsville (45 mins), Grass Valley (<1 hour), Chico (<1.5 hours) and Sacramento (1.5 hours.) A teacher would be ideal but I’d also appreciate someone who I could just meet up with for a couple of hours occasionally to practice and discuss piping. PM me please.

There used to be one in Marysville, but he got wise and moved away. :wink: Even for him though, he was going to the SF club for assistance.

I never knew of any UP pipers in the area, just some SSP and GHB pipers.
I just moved away from Sacramento, but to an area with just as few pipers. One other than me.
