Hi,
I really want to learn to play the Uilleann Pipes. I am trying to find a teacher somewhere close to where I live, (mid. pennsula, bay area, california area) because if I don’t have a teacher, a. I will undoughtably learn all sorts of bad habits, b. get a practice set, play it for a week and never pick it up again after that, and c. my parents say i have to have a teacher (best reason of all 
)
So if anyone knows of a teacher in my area, it would be greatly appricated. Also having one local would be nice too because I can’t drive, yet, due to fact I am underaged and my mom refuses to drive me long distances to learn loud instuments.
Lastly, anyone have any good hints to help to convince unwilling parents, that their lovable daughter needs to learn the bagpipes? So far I have gotten my mom, to say ‘Well, if you can find a teacher…’ and well, I want to find a teacher.
But I think I have blabbered more than enough, and if I have made any sense what so ever, please reply.
