Nice work Groovehead!

I’ve been a bit busy to frequent the messageboard of late. I haven’t seen any postings by Groovehead. But last night I sent off an offering to Tony for posting on Clips and Snips/Tin Whistle Tunes. I went to check it out tonight…some of you know how it is…especially with original stuff…you need to listen to it a gazillion times to sort of process it for yourself (not to mention the fact that I’m processing a number of other things right now). There is a posting by Groovehead who claims to have been playing less than a week. The soul that is put into the playing of this simple and pretty air “Me Little Aire” is pretty remarkable for someone so new to the instrument (and it’s not just the reverb!). I heartily encourage Clips and Snips fans to give it a listen. Wow.

Cheers,
David de la Barre

 Oops…sorry folks. I see we’ve “been there, done that”. Once again I leap before I look. I hate it when that happens.

David

Thank you very much Feadan!

I just listened to your tune as well David and it’s very good. I love the mix of the harpsichord (it is a harpsichord right?) and the whistle… very nice

Thanks Michael. Yes it is quasi-harpsichord. I wish I had better tools to use though. MIDI through a cheapo Casio keyboard sent through and crummy PC microphone is greatly lacking in sound quality. Better than naught I suppose. Keep up the good work on your playing.

Best,
David
