Recording from my local pub session (slightly OT)

I’ve posted a short recording on my website of my rendition of Taimse mo Codhladh, played at our Tuesday night session at the Ould Sod pub here in San Diego.

Just click on my photo for the .mp3 file.

I’m playing a Kirk Lynch chanter. The backup guitarist is John O’Hara, quite a fine player.

Just wanted to share it with the group. Hope you enjoy it!

Cheers,

Michael, thanks for sharing a bit of your work! It sounded great. I just visited a few other pages on your site, and it’s wonderful… I’m excited to learn a few tunes from the terrific tunebooks you have up!

Michael,
If you like, I’ll post a link in Clips and Snips. Otherwise, your post will be buried very soon and be lost.

email me with your answer in case this gets buried before I check back.

Michael,

Great playing, and a really lovely site. I just printed out your tune books and am so pleased that you took the time and energy to create them. I am sure it will provide many hours of enjoyment and a few frustrating ones as well (fiddle tunes, I hate thee). I really think these tunes, and other goodies on your site, are going to help me negotiate the perils of novice session playing.

Best

Matt
