Andreas makes a superb C# chanter. I am surprised that we do not hear more about his C# instrument on this list.

Glands,

As you know I have a Rogge C# set. It has spoiled me in that it is a superb
set of pipes. Everything about it spells quality. You play it and wonder why anyone would want anything else.
To me its that good. I use it for special occasions such as weddings or other piping.
Fiddlers or guitar players are happy to tunes down a notch.

A happy piper… Ed

Among those who have played my Rogge C# chanter are Benedict Koehler, Jerry O’Sullivan, David Power and, at the recent East Coast Tionol, Pat D’Arcy. All of them spoke highly of its sound. I have a nice clip of David playing it at a recent meeting of the Hudson River Pipers Club. Happy to post it if I knew how. Regards to all.

I have had the pleasure of playing this stick, it is a beauty to the eye and ear, of this there is no doubt.

So have they arrived yet???

Boyd

Don’t rush the man. I’d bet money if they’ve arrived he’s too busy playing them to post. If they haven’t he’s probably camped with a tent by his mailbox.

I would be…

That would be a rather painful :astonished: matter, proctologically speaking

Not to mention urologically.

The pun was unintentional.

Pär, I’ll bet you a bottle of Irish wiskey that I’ll get my new set before you get your Rogge :smiling_imp:

Have you decided to sell your Spillane set or the Hughes half set?

See you next week!

Here´s my Rogge-set. It took a long, long time…
Now I have to integrate the regs to my playing. “Tuff shit”

Happy New Year to you all…

Beautiful set.

Yes. Andreas Rogge is a good craftman,
4 years of waiting is :swear:
