So anyone getting their new set of pipes in 2004, and how long has the wait been?
I expect my Kirk Lynch 1/2 set to be finished sometime this summer, and can’t wait. (!!!)

I’m waiting for my Childress full set to arrive sometime in 2004. It’s been a while since I enquired about their status and I don’t know when they’ll be ready. I’m keeping plenty busy with the old pipes in the meantime, so the waiting hasn’t been hard.
I will be receiving my Gallagher drones next month to complete my half set. I have been waiting since last summer and the wait will be worth it I am sure. Originally it would have been about another year but Seth shortened his wait times.

I’m supposed to be getting a half set in D by Joe Kennedy as well, but I’ve only been waiting a year… man I hope it won’t end up taking 2.5 years… I’d have to cry like a little girl or something to get him to go faster
. Actually he says that they should be ready by February. I can either go get the set or go the Chris Langan Weekend. The set wins.

Got a new Rogge D chanter coming next month.
Thinkin’ of putting in an order for regs but my rationality hasn’t quite gone out the window yet…
My regulators to complete my Brian Howard set should be ready by the summer. These are the completely redesigned regs Brian has been working on for ages, complete with new keywork. After the modifications to what Brian calls ‘the perturbations’ on the D chanter and the drones on my half set ( an accoustic tour de force!) I can’t wait.If I can work out how to post pictures I’ll put some on so you can all see.
no new pipes expected- i have my hands full with my new seth half set, just learning the basics. however, i am thinking about getting for it:
a bag cover
a shutoff valve for the chanter (surprisingly expensive)
a custom case
and maybe one of those button closer deals that go on the end of the chanter, although i have not had problems closing it against my jeans.

Regulators from Robbie Hughes sometime early next year. Final piece of the jigsaw.
Practice set received at Christmas 1999 (5 months wait), drones received in March 2002 (6 months wait). Regulators ordered in the summer, with specific instructions not to rush…no point in hurrying a craftsman.
Very pleased with all his work and service.
Cheers, Keith
Meir, the “button closer deal at the bottom of the chanter” is usually called a popping valve.

And another one coming next year, before summer I expect.is a ‘C’ set
of drones and 2 regs from Mr.David Boisvert.
I recently got two wooden whistles from David, they are so nice and
I’ve decided to go with his pipes.
Wowee! Innerhand, how many pipes are you getting?!!!(not that I’m jealous or anything,LOL!)
