How to kill the remainder of members' non-board lives.

This is mostly for Rich and Dale, though open for others’ comments. I know there’s a C&F chat room which is sometimes in use and have occasionally dropped by, but it seems rather quiescent most of the time.

There’s another board I oft times visit http://civ3.1bigcommunity.com/

When a member is logged onto the message boards, there’s a small permanent chat box called a “member tag board” scrolling constantly. It’s only open to registered and logged-on members. Interesting, albeit I don’t use it because I don’t really hang on that board and besides, if you think I’m old fogey here, on a game board I feel positively paleolithic.

I’ve no idea how they do it. Just thought I’d throw out the idea in case one of our techier members had an idea or wanted to mess with it.

The chat room has been very active as of late in the evenings US time. Typically anytime from ~6 PM to~2 AM eastern time.

…and I STILL can’t get in!
Susan

I asked before but dont remember answer./ What browser are you using Susanfx?? Because Netscape barely worked with chat for me. I had to scroll up everytime a comment was posted or all I saw was blank space.

Explorer works fine though I begrudge Bill.

Oh, it wasn’t nearly that late 'round here. Only about 3 o’lock.
