hello i just stumbled into this website and love it. I have played trobone for the past 7 years but now that i’m in college its to big and loud to have so I dug up some penny wistles from our box of "musicl toys’ it seems to satisfy my musical ergings, the only problem is i can’t read treble cleff very well. and easily remidied problem.
howdy!
Glad you’ve joined our purdy lil board! ![]()
Hi there-- a whistle is a LOT easier to stick in your pocket and carry around than a 'bone. Probably not as good for playing Hold That Tiger though…
Stick with our little flute, and you are in for a ton of fun.
Or do what a good handful of people here do, don’t bother with reading the music, do it by ear.
Welcome to the board, Grape!
Brass is beautiful!!!
yes it is claudine, when it’s made into a shiny new whistle

Hope you get to enjoy these funny little pieces of tubing as much as the rest of us.
And …
Claudine, I agree Brass is Beautiful.
My Wife has a lot of this, its partly why I married her. She doesn’t play a lick of music; however, she does whistle. She whistles, I come. ;0)
