FS Neil O'Grady full set for sale but needs new reeds

I’m thinking of selling my Neil O’Grady full set in D.

The set was made in 04/02 and the Regs 01/04. The Set is not in a brand new condition ,with some scratches and minor modifications(changed the blow pipe,forged the drone switch,stained the main stock to dark brown color,changed the bellows strap to a wider belt).The bag is now equipped with my hand made bag but also comes with the original bag(I changed it because I prefer a black colored bag).

The problem is that the set needs a new reed to make it work ,except the very stable drone reeds.

I’ve not been using the original chanter since I start using my D.Stephenson chanter and the chanter needs a new reed.It comes with some reeds made by Neil but they need to be adjusted(very very soft reeds).
The Regs. I don’t know if the reeds are OK cause I don’t have enough technics and knowledge to tune them,but comes with two set of reeds.

I’m selling this set because I’m waiting for my C set and must make money for it and only play D chanter in sessions.
I’m thinking about 300000JPN approx 2700USD for the set.
So if you are interested and have enogh skill to make reeds and adjust the set ,or can ask your local pipemaker to do the work, please send me a PM. I think that this sale is not for beginner without help. I can take photos and send them upon request.

Sounds like a very reasonable price for a full set. Don’t worry about your English speaking abilities, innerhand, English is my first language and you write it better than me. :smiley:

I agree that it is a very simple set. Minimum mounts and ferrules.
I think that the price is enough because the original price is around 3200～400USD and the set is second hand and needs new reeds.
