Neil O'Grady Half Set for sale

I have a eight month old half set of Neil O’Grady Uilleann pipes for
sale. They are made of cocobolo and maple. They include the bag,
bellows, chanter and mainstock with drones. The chanter has a C natural
key. There are 3 EXTRA drone reeds (one for each drone) and one extra
chanter reed included. I bought these directly from Neil and he
delivered them to me in December of 2003. These pipes are available
right away, no waiting! I am in St. Louis, MO USA and can arrange to
show them to anyone who is in the area. Otherwise I will have them
professionally packed at the local UPS store and shipped via UPS or
USPS, buyers choice. Buyer will pay for all packing, shipping and
insurance.

The price is $1400 and that does not include the packing, shipping and
insurance.

I have come to the realization that being a very involved father of a
young family, employed full time, etc. I am just not able to fit
learning and practicing the pipes into our schedule. Maybe after my kids
are grown up and off to college I will have some free time and I will
try again. But I am enjoying them while they are still young! :slight_smile:

$1400 American eh?

That’s much more than a new set (I know, with a year’s wait, oh well) is straight from Neil O’Grady (new they are $1525 CAD → $1149.88 USD)

I would suggest nothing more than $1000 USD with shipping et al included.

Neil charges 75 per key, so that’s 225 added on to the 1525 which would make it a grand total of 1750 from him. (Canadian)
American, still less.

One key (as listed above) is 1600. American, much less.

Anyway, I don’t care… I just thought people might like to know.
