Zoob

Any news from Zoob? I’ve sent him a PM this evening, but haven’t seen any sign of him for a while, so wonder if he’ll see it, especially in the commodious environs of this salubrious drinking and debating establishment.

I was wondering the sam lately. I hope he’s OK. Roger, you can check your outbox to see if he’s picked up the PM or not. If he hasn’t, it’ll still be there.

Best,
Paul

Le Zubivka! Je regrette l’absence d’un homme d’esprit comme ca! Je suis triste et je pleure avec des larmes qui deviennent une flaque énorme!

Mwa O Sea.

What they said.

Best wishes,
Jerry

Waiter . . . I’ll have what she’s having. But put mine in a clean glass.

Will O’Ban

my glass was clean! I washed it myself.

Wow, you’re quick on the draw!

Will O’Ban

Hey, Zoob, where ya been? I’d like to hear from you again!

-Jim

I n’ya personne qui sait?

Yec’hed mat!
Aaron

I must have had a wee too much to drink. What did you say?

Naturellement, nous sommes. Nous n’avons jamais entendu parler de Babelfish.

Probablement quelque part dans Bretagne brûlant Dixons.

Ich suis a Francophone nicht mais soy think es ist sehr pretty. A veces I really sprechen like that, sadly.

I try to learn too many languages at once and as a consequence don’t get too far in any of them…but I still hope Zubvika isn’t dead!

I do know a fair bit of French having dabbled in it throughout H.S. and College…verrrrrrry rusty though, as anyone with good French grammar who reads my post will notice.
Currently trying to add Spanish to my repertoire…well, because people speak it around here.

I don’t like that Spanish has two forms of ‘to be’. I just don’t understand why. Spanish vowels are so pure and different from English vowels, too, especially if you speak with a heavy Southern US accent. But I agree that it’s quite useful.

Hi folks, Zub is a friend and I last spoke to him a couple of weeks back on the good ole telephone. They have these in France  . Also Wales.

He hasn’t been using email much lately - hence my concern at the non-replies, but I get used to these lapses in electronic mutterings, as whenever I speak to him he’s fine and busy.

Trisha, Wales

That’s good. Let him know he’s missed!!

I’m glad to hear he’s OK.

I tried to telephone him, but got no answer, and I also emailed him, but with no response as of yet. (I have his phone number from some snail mail correspondence we exchanged in regards to legal documents - purchase contract, bill of sale, etc. - involving the purchase of a plantars wart.)

Best wishes,
Jerry
