I’ve been in Co. Kerry since a week ago Thursday.
I walked a good 9 miles or more each day.
Today I’ll go by the World Bodhrán Championships 2006 instead of walking.
I’ll drink some good Irish Ale and listen to some music.
Do you think I’ll find at least one good bodhrán player?

Anybody got any idea if there will be lead musicians providing backing music for the competing bodhran players? 
An appalling vista… or its auditory equivalent.
Let us hope it’s all polkas. That should do some weeding-out.

He didnt tell me he was entering because he knew id slag the arse of him!
He said he only entered it for the craic!

Bodhráns and banjoes, all in one place at the same time! Next year we’ll have to schedule a gun show at the same time, or a national skeet shooting competition for the optically challenged.
