Whistlesmith whistles?

Hello,

has anyone here ever tried a Whistlesmith whistle? I couldn´t find any reviews on them. They are cheap, made of plastic, come in all sizes and are available through ebay. Any idea?

Thanks!

Hi Aislinn,

Since nobody seems to be getting back to you, I dug this up:

Might be of some help. There are a few other references if you hit the search function.

For some reason, people around here don’t seem to like questions about synthetic whistles too much. I had one up a little while ago and ended up just deleting it b/c no one touched it…although it may have been because I’m not a very likeable person…there’s always that…

:sniffle:

I have one of these, and will eventually get around to a review in the next couple months

Thank you!

(looking at date on calendar compared to date on post)… (cough)… Ahem…

they are quiet. I own a low D. the spacing on the finger holes is small enough to play finger tip instead of pipers grip. And as I said the whistles themselve are on the quite side which can be quite nice if you want to play late at night while spouses/kids are sleeping.

Ahem

I still have the whistle. Unfortuantely, I have taken a hiatus from reviewing whistles. Except for the Vargus feadog tweak, I haven’t reviewed a whistle since May.

Sounds like something from the Hitchhiker’s Guide.

Well, I only to date own 4 or 5 whistles, and I’m more of a flautist that dabbles in whistles, but I’ll bite the bullet and get one so I can review it.
(A friend of mine want’s me to make a myspace page anyway…)

haha!
