I had the name wrong. No more sleep deprived posting. I’ve seen these on ebay, but can’t seem to find any reviews on this forum. Has anyone tried one out? Please post a link if this has already been discussed or p.m. me with your thoughts about them.
Thank you,
Marc
No one? ![]()
Nope, no one. You’re not the first to ask, though. It just seems that no one has taken the plunge. Go for it, and report back!
Thanks. I might take a chance.

Their low D is a beautiful sounding whistle. One of the most beautiful sounding whistles I’ve heard. Very mellow. I bought one, but had to go and sell it mainly because my fingers weren’t big enough. The Piper’s grip was just too hard for me.
I do have their High D whistle and I love it! It has a very mellow sound. Not terribly loud as with the brass whistles but soft enough for my likeing.
I also just bought their new High A whistle, as Rod calls it, a traveling whistle. He also says that if anything ever goes wrong with his whistles, send it back and he’ll fix it. You can find out about his whistles from his website: http://www.whistlesmith.com.
Hope this helps.
