I’m looking for a few different whistles preferably between the keys of C and F
(though I’d also love to try a Burke compostie Low-D)…especially C and Bb.
Here’s what’s on the table:
Dixon Bb (brand spankin’ new I need something louder)
Dixon D/C Duo (flute head, whistle head & 2 bodies)
Reyburn High D (a tremendous tooter if you like traditional sound and quality chiff with better volume and looks than a cheapo)
The Reyburn is gone
Thin Weasel Blackwood (absolutely to die for…I don’t need two)
Let me know via email
Cheers,
Doc

You’ll love that Reyburn Chris. It’s a tremendous tooter. I have dessimated my population of Hi-Ds I’m playing my thin Weasel almost exclusively now days. I will probably get another Reyburn someday as the separation anxiety is setting in
I picked up my Reyburn just-tuning Low-D last night for the first time in a few weeks (I’ve been working on flute pretty heavily). Man what a whistle! The complexity and richness of the sound is truly wonderful.
Hey Ronaldo ever thought about carving a wooden flute head that could slide on to your whistles? If you do put me first on the list!
