WhOA Attack! I need your help. :) Would like to buy a qu

Brothers and Sisters,

My name is Doc and I’m a whistle addict.

It started innocently enough. I was in the local music store and bought a Clarke original. It was love at first toot.

The tone was just a tad breathy so I bought an improved clarke…wonderfulness!!

Then I got some Generations, a couple of susatos, a feadog, a Dixon Lo-D, a Burke Low-D, an Overton Lo-D.

I started swapping whistles with other people and picked up a couple of Water Weasels.

Surely THESE would do the trick! They are fabulous. Their tone is astonishing they are pleasent to play. They have a half-life of 50 million years. What could be bad?

Nothing! Nothing could be bad! :astonished:

Laughs maniacally

They’re wonderful. They’re perfect. But I just don’t care anymore I’m giving in.

I am officially shopping for a used Burke Hi-D or maybe an Overton or a Sindt.

Or maybe all three! more maniacal laughter

Please help me! WhOA is me!

Anyone wishing to part with a good Hi-D is invited to email at:

or send a Personal message.

Thanks,

Doc

Why do you want a used one?

I hate waiting in line.

If anyone knows where to get any of the above-mentioned whistle new and quickly let me know.

Doc

As I understand it, Burke doesn’t have much of a wait. For that matter I ordered a Copeland low D in April and got it immediately. It’d be worth calling them to see if they can just drop one in the mail.

Thanks Blackhawk. I’ll try that too.
