Which one of you C & F ers.....

Were rafting in the Yukon territory? My DH would like to know!!

Today we were watching the National Geographic channel and they had a special on about a few young men rafting up in the Yukon for the whole summer!! I heard some Irish music in the background…and LOW AND BEHOLD!!! One guy was playing a whistle!! It had a black fipple and a silver body…couldn’t tell what kind it was though…but I think it was a soprano D. One of the other guys was playing a guitar. Very nice and mellow music…I LOVED IT!!

My dear husband wanted to know which of you blokes was on there. He said he can’t get through the day without coming in contact with those (&&(***( whistles!!! (He USED to be supportive of my whistling endeavors…)

(gearing up..and practicing about 2 hours a day for St. Paddy’s!!–this morning I may have awakened him…)

Sounds like either an Oak (if cylindrical) or a Sweetone/Meg (if conical).

Jef

I think it was conical…it was very pretty for sure!

I’ve got a Jerry Freeman Sweetone that resembles that suspect exactly.
