Hi Gang,

About 5 months ago I ordered a practice set from the fine fellas at Uilleann Pipes of Boston.

In the mean time I’ve acquired a couple of sets and really don’t need another.

The UPB set is ready to go. If anyone would like it I’ll have them ship it to you instead of to me. How’s that for instant gratification? :smiley:

You can pay them the balance due directly. I’ll cover the $50 deposit so you’re getting your set for $750 instead of $800. :slight_smile:

I guess I should clarify. A couple of sets have come and gone (or are going). I’ve decided I’m a flat set kind of guy and really don’t have the funds or time to maintain more than one set. :slight_smile:

One thing you may want to remember is that these pipes can be upgraded. David Boisvert makes mainstock and drones for them out of polypenco. Anyone who has ever heard David’s drones can attest to the fact that they’re dead solid and rich in tone. Combine the drones with the great tone of UPWB’s chanters and I think you have a very nice pairing.

I can’t say for certain if there are regulators in the works, but it would be a good question to ask David.

The pipes have been claimed by some nice college kid that lives only a few blocks away from the UPB lads. :slight_smile:
