Hi gang,

Just wanted to announce that The Irish Flute Store is now selling Pat Sky’s “Budget Practice Sets”. They’re lovely players. Hats off to Pat for his great work.

I also have a nice 1/2 set of Roberts pipes in stock if anyone has the itch for some drones. If someone would like just the drones from th Roberts set that would be fine as well. :slight_smile:

There’s a really nice Evans NSP set in stock as well should anyone feel inclined toward more “civilized” piping. :slight_smile:

Note that I said “more civilized” not civilized.

That said, it’s the “edge of chaos” of Uilliann piping (and ITM generally) that gives it it’s charm. One gets the feelling that the whole thing could fly apart at any moment. :slight_smile:

‘More’ or ‘less’ ain’t in it, “civilized” seems so out of place next to the word ‘piping’. :smiley:

Joseph, I think if you got yourself a good English-looking hat, and a tweed smoking jacket with leather elbow patches, and a plaid bag cover, your piping could be more civilized. :smiley:
