Uilleann Pipe Club (Phila)

Does anyone want to or interested in starting an Uilleann Pipe Club in the Philadelphia area? Preferably within walking distance from my house!!

Patrick,

Actually there kinda is one. I’ll PM you the info.

Walking from bloomsburg to philly…hmmmm bit of a trip there…

But count me in! who’s yer pipemaker?

I’m sure there’s enough interest. The list for Jerry’s weekend lessons in Philadelphia is pretty healthy. Thanks to Dan for organizing that and Jerry for driving from NY.

Personally I would definitely be interested in a Phlly based club.

Sorry, haven’t updated my profile in quite sometime. I’m actually back home in Langhorne for good. At the moment I’m between sets I just passed off my David Boisvert set and patiently waiting on my Mark Donohue set to come in. So, it sounds like all is needed is a name for the club! Most likely I won’t be there next week but I definitly want to get involved for the future.

How about, “The Alan Parsons Project”

How about “Anyones project but mine”

langhorne’s doable

Shame no one here has a Talyor set. Anyone want to loan me 16K for Mark H’s???

Keep us posted on when the club meets. I will be visiting the Philadelphia Children’s Hospital this summer with my 4 year old daughter for a Pallister-Killian Syndrome conference in Late June and would love to meet for some tunes.

You let me know when that is and I’ll try and schedule things around that time.

I’ll be in Philadelphia June 19th-22nd pm me if we can get together

so whos going to Keenan wkshop on thursday?

I’ll be there!

Looks like this post is nearly 10 years old now. Did anything come of it? Are there any Philadelphia Pipe Clubs that any one knows of?

There were three of us playing at the Sligo session in Media last Monday,
but that’s as close as I’ve seen in years.
