  1. YOU’VE EVER BEEN KISSED ON THE CHEEK BY JOANIE!

(what’s #3 about? what’s with the necktie?)

Thanks for not letting this topic fall off the edge of the earth!

At one concert with a symphony (and there are several other Chiffy witnesses to this as well, who also participated in event #4), on the very last tune, Joanie put down her whistle to go into one of her famous dances, and headed straight for the conductor. The conductor laid down his baton and pulled off his necktie and jacket (a process which may have taken only about 1 second), and suddenly they were both dancing a reel all over the stage. It was a hoot!

I guess you could say that this conductor wasn’t of the usual personality type. :sunglasses:

I saw CTL last night. They played here in Birmingham. I had thought I was going to have to be out of town, and then my out-of-town thing was cancelled this week. I figured it was too late to get tickets. So, Joanie emails me before the show and I call her back and she has two tickets waiting for me. Front row of the mezzanine. And, bless her heart, as she always does when she knows I’m in the audience, she dedicates a tune to me and played tribute to C&F. She had nice things to say about the C&F community.

The Ladies were in good form. Donna Long is with them again for some dates and that was nice treat.
