This is one of the top festivals in the country and the celtic weekend is always good. Hope some of ya’ll can make it. If you do, look me up if you are there on Sat. I’m the old grey-haired tenor drummer with the Appalachian Highlanders. Of course I’ll also be there on Sun for the CTL concert but not in a kilt.

Cherish the Ladies is coming to Wisconsin in early August for Milwaukee’s Irish Fest. All this talk about Joanie Madden, you can count on me being there. Anyone else planning on the Milwaukee show?
CTL really gets around!! They are coming to the Albany NY area ( Altamont fairgrounds) on Sept 21 for an Irish fest.
Wherever you are, don’t miss them.
I just saw them at Interlochen last week. I was absolutely spellbound for two hours. To me, the most amazing thing was when Joanie and Mary R. played the whistle together. How they can stay together at mach 10 is beyond me! BTW, they also have a new vocalist. She just moved here from County Kildare.
Kathy, I guess Dee Connolly left CTL? I’m gonna miss her. Hopefully the new singer is as sweet and talented. I may drop Dee an e-mail and see how she’s doing these days.
The first time I saw them was 3/99 when the singer was still Aoife Clancy. December will make the third singer I’ve seen with CTL in as many years. Talk about job insecurity…
