Tickets aren’t on sell yet of course, but should be in Sept/05 I believe.

Just thought I would let you all know and Hope to see you all there.

should be fun . . . I would highly recommend for anyone wanting a special evening. Does it snow out there?

Yes, it snows in Paducah.

I might come if I’m not working or doing something else. Where can I buy tickets?

Cran…tickets should eventually be listed on the centers website, but they arn’t on sell now.

matt…we do get snow.

I have tried for a while to get Lunasa here. Their management is now working with the center to get them here in 2006.

Also Dervish will be in St. Louis, Mo in March 2006.

Man, you’re on the other side of the country from me! But I do know that Flook is supposed to be here in Seattle next year sometime. I would imagine that would be a great time.

Matt:

They were just in St. Louis in May…I didn’t go…but no doubt it was a good night.

I’m looking forward to seeing Cherish the Ladies for the first time this summer. The will perform August 5, 6 and 7 at the Dublin Irish Festival in Central Ohio.

You guessed it…

OBLIGATORY POST!!!

You will not regret it!

Just saw this post about Cherish coming to Paducah. I wouldn’t miss Joanie and company anywhere if I could make it, but it is only 90 minutes from Murphysboro. That Carson 4 Rivers Center is just beautiful and has great acoustics. I saw Jerry O’Sullivan there last Christmas with a Scottish group. Jerry played the Highland pipes and the UP as well and a little whistle. It was just great, so I strongly recommend anyone within driving distance come and
enjoy the great seats and sounds of this great hall. Paducah has some wonderful restaurants in the old downtown area too, so come early and try them out.

Mike

a high G?

Well, I could say I was a “little confused”, but anyone who has me knows
“little” is not the word for that either

No worries. We thought maybe it was kind of like comedian Mike Williams playing a “little guitar”.

Michael:
I was there also…Bonnie wasn’t bad herself and the gentleman on harp played a high D swayne whistle. It ought to be a nice place for what the State and private contributers gave ($40 million to be exact). It seats about 1,800.

Got to rub it in that its about a whole 9 miles from the house.

Hope to see you there.

We got back yesterday from 9 days with Joanie Madden and Mary Coogan in Ireland.
I do not know where to start but when I catch my breath I will start a separate thread to list the many musicians who came to play for us and that we did sessions with.
The “Westies” who were the group of Blue Grass musicians from Colorado turned out to be a great group of people and talented musicians and we made some great friends.
This was the dream vacation of a life time and when they run the next tour I will be first in line.

Oh, man! Phil, ya gotta post some piccies!

I wish I could have gone. :frowning:

And all this time I thought they were the Irish mob. :boggle:
