To the "Rocky Mountain Boys"...

Well, lads, here it is friday night, 8:30. I should be stopping for gas somewhere around Vernal right now on my way to Mack’s…as it is, I’m going to bed. Very much against my will, I’ve had to admit defeat (for the moment–I’ll be back) and slow down for the weekend, sort of get my legs back underneath me. Ah, the injustice of it all!

Anyway, I just wanted to let you guys know I’m with you in spirit, I’m really disappointed that I had to bow out literally at the last minute, and I plan on seeing you all in January. Have fun!

God bless–
Tom

Tom,

Upon arriving at Mack’s house yesterday I was disappointed to discover you were not able to make it down. Hope you recover soon. We had a good session in Mack’s living room (Thanks Mack). Nice mix of instruments and tunes. Hope to see you in the not too distant future?

Rand

Well, if you G. Junction boys are still up for a bit of a party, I may be swinging through your neck of the woods in January on my way to Denver for the Chieftains concert!

Perhaps we could throw something impromptu together? I may be able to fit one or two extras in the car along the way too…three if we use the trunk!

Anyway, sorry I missed ya all too!

The gathering Saturday was a great success. More fun than a person ought to have.
We didn’t have to get out the folding chairs, but every other chair in the house was used, except for the one at the computer where Rand and Peggy’s two boys took turns flying my simulated RC’s and the Hover(not Hoover)Craft.

I taped some of the tunes on cassette, which I’ll try to input to my web sounds page (good playing—bad recording).

Tom and Brian, I really missed you guys!

Rodger brought his electronic “bag” pipe. Now there’s something I REALLY need!

Brian, can I have one of the spare seat in your car come January?

Happy Thanksgiving to all!
Mack

For the Rocky Mountain Boys and anyone else interested in out meetings you will find this thread “Completely Off Topic for David Migoya” in the Flute Forum very interesting.

With the strains of the “Walls of Liscarroll” (hey give me a break I have been learning it)playing triuphantly in the background the Rocky Mountain boys march closer to front row seats at the Denver Chieftains show. Now if a certain whistler from utah who shall remain nameless would catch up with us we will all be there

Mack, Tom, got your checks today, I will post our seat numbers the second I get back from ticketmaster on the 3rd.
