OK, folks, I am having a ball with this. I’m in e-mail contact with every whistle recipient, and even though I don’t buy whistles much any more thanks to you guys, but the postage and the time are taking a lot of evergy which I don’t have as much of as usual to enjoy this! I think this baby needs to grow, and think we can do this as a community. I got a small grant, to do it locally here in the Black Hills, and will produce a Celtic Music Festival here in Deadwood/Lead this summer, to give myself a good solid base to do tis from! I think after the Festival, I’ll probably bow out, because my book will take full-time marketing, and I have another winter public sculpture project, too. Plus, I am mooching food out of the casinos, which I hate, because of the damn noise…so, all you good generous hearted folks out there, what do you think we should do? Redwolf has some good ones, but I think this would be great as a community to do…it’s one of those NICE gifts that keeps on giving! It’s been a roaring success considering I live on less than $7,000 a year. As much as I love this baby, I’m ready to let it go, but if we can make plans as a community, I can hang in there for my usual year! I used to start 501(c)3 corporations and get canned in two years as executive director, but was happy to see the baby grow, and I’m probably premature about wanting to bail here, but I’m sick and tired, the foc put me on oyxgen at night, and my energy isn’t it should be. I could probably pick it up when I feel better, but…HELP me out here Chiffy Fipples or I’ll never ever ever put youse guys in an acknowledgement in a book of poetry again!
