Redwolf, Avanutria, and I have been carrying on a discussion about whistle (MEGS)giveaways becoming a Chiff and Fipple project. Nobody should ever be without the means to make music, and I’m going broke buying and mailing whistles. I’ve resorted to working to eat. UGH!
The whistles I sent to Thailand, Poland and took to Pine Ridge really carried BIG TIME payoffs in new e-pen pals for me. Plus there’s nothing I like better than having a bunch of kids hanging offa me like I was the Pied Piper! My Thai “niece” and Corrs fan is pretty happy with hers and bragged a bit on thecorrs.net, and I need to send whistles to two more kids and they will have to wait for a bit!
I know we’ve got generous souls around here. We were thinking more of a clearinghouse thing, so people who want to give away whistles or take them on a trip like Wyoming Badger’s to give them away don’t have to reinvent the wheel.
Um, feedback from everybody, including you, Dale? I’m very good at whining, begging, blackmail, groveling, sniveling and other irritating behavior…but not in Deadwood!
