Oh, what a sweet little thing. Snuggle is the word all right! Did we ever learn what his/her name is? And if it is a he or she? It has such a thoughtful-looking little face

Although the Chinese usually prefer to eat adult dogs, I believe they have some special recipes for puppies. I will see what I can find.

She’s beautiful, Walden. I love baby critters.
I found a tiny kitten crying under a bush about two weeks ago. When I asked the people at the house if it was theirs, they said it wasn’t but it had been crying under their house for a couple of days and they had been hoping someone would do something with it! I took him home, fed him (he absolutely attacked the dish of food), took him to the vet (he’s about eight weeks old but very small and very dehydrated and starving), got him his shots and dewormed him. So we have a new tiny, tiny kitty at my house named Eddie and I hope he appreciates it! He’s absolutely adorable. Who can resist baby critter eyes?

The mother is very protective of her. She’s so tiny, herself, that she is unable to carry the baby about.
That some kind of a Filipino possum? When I was living in Mindanao they caught a civet that was after the chickens. The Filipinos mistook it for a fox, not having seen a real fox.
That’s a pretty happy-looking face ![]()

Single puppies are so special. I had one- name of Fidhler. He was great. They usually are much more attached to their person, or people.
Just be sure Cassie(good name, I’ve got an aunt named that) gets plenty of time with mom as she grows up so she knows she’s a dog.

…if only the mama poodle knew she was a dog!
It’s actually a rather odd, primative primate, the same order you all belong to. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tarsier

It’s called a Phillipine Tarsier, so perhaps it is what Walden was talking about.
Do you say it like tar sea ay or tar syer? I can’t figure that out…
