This guy is three years old. My sister brought him home yesterday. We already keep poodles, and this one needed a home, as he was making it impossible for the children to sleep at his old home.

And here is another of my friends…

Let’s hope friend #1 stays away from friend #2.
What… he’s a fine mandolin picker! ![]()
Reminds me of a popular postcard around here. It shows a lady waking a toy poodle on a leash through a forest. The caption says “Trolling for Mountain Lions.”

There’re mountain lions in this county, and they are legally classed as a game animal, though the state hasn’t had a season on them since the 1950’s. The old-timers called them painters, which is the correct pronunciation of panther.
Beautiful poodle and lovely bowlback. I love the white inlays on the chest.
Have fun
!

I like ‘em both. That first one sure has attitude in that picture. I’m sure he could take on any ol’ painter that comes along.
Small dogs still have the same size “hearts” as their larger brethren. ![]()
hehe, Walden, the poodle looks funny, as if he had plenty of things to tell. i wonder if he will drive you insane with the things that dogs like to do (eating shoes, barking for nothing …) ![]()
Awww! The expression on the puppy’s face is adorable! ![]()
“May God help you”, only kiding, I’m glad you gave the littlie feller a home, I"m a total cat person, barkin’ wears on me nerves big time. I am sure he’s smart as a whip
and he’ll be a best friend.
I would wonder what, exactly, he did to keep the children awake.
He’s a cutie, Walden!
Ah yes… in his three years, there are bound to be some stories there!
But what the heck is that critter in your avatar? Ferret? Small raccoon?
Awww…what a cutie he is Walden! ![]()
Yes. It’s a young coon.
My sister took the photo of me holding it. Someone rescued it from a felled tree, and a friend of my sister’s had it.
You have some cute friends there, Walden. ![]()
I love coons! One of my neighbors had one who had lost its front leg as a baby and couldn’t be put back in the wild. Her name was Ribbet (like the sound a frog makes). She was such an adorable little critter!!
