SOLD - beautiful Fred Rose blackwood and sterling silver

Hi Guys and Gals,

THANKS TO ALL WHO RESPONDED, IT SOLD VERY QUICKLY THOUGH, SO SORRY IF YOU MISSED OUT.

I have a lovely Fred Rose african blackwood with hallmarked sterling silver fittings, also has the nice rose zip up case to boot, I had two of these, one in Mpoane which I sold a while back, I kept the blackwood one as I travel a lot to varying climates and have a fear of wood cracking, I know its all in my mind, anyway I have migrated to flute over the last year, and have not used this whistle it has been regularly oiled with almond oil and has never been out of the house, it plays every bit as good as it looks, and has the most pure tone of any whistle I have owned,
when i say pure i mean totally chiff or wind free in its sound, tony Hinnigan plays one on his site alongside a Busman and rates both whistles, he also plays it on his whistle test and raves about it, link is below.

Current price with case from Fred is $ 360 or £180 or 228 Euro
and there is a 3 month wait as of last week.

I am looking for $280 or £140 or 180 Euro.

postage is extra but will be at cost, which I can work out once I have the location, but a rough figure would be insured international signed for to the USA $ 22 Europe 12 Euro, Uk £6 ROYAL MAIL SPECIAL.

the whistle is in lovelly condition without any marks as it has been babied
it is a year old, I used to have a set of Abells d/c/Eb bodies and one head the rose has the same build quality as an Abell, but much more purer in sound quality and like I said no chiff.

cheers sponge
