I have just recieved my Fred Rose from Doc Jones, it made of Mopani with silver fittings apart from looking fab its sounds great, most of my other whistle have all mainly been on the chiffy side this is the first very chiffless sounding whistle I have bought, and I have to say I do prefer the clear tone of the lower and upper octaves, I still love noodling around on my old clarke, anyway I bought a brand new Bernhard Overton Soprano D three weeks ago its a great whistle, I tried it before buying it and it has an easy step up to the second octave very responsive and is in mint condition,
