Seattle sessions worth going to?

I’m planning on making a very brief trip ( like fly up in the afternoon and leave early the next morning) up to Seattle sometime the week of June 27th thru July 3rd, and I have a couple questions.

First off, is there a session I absolutely shouldn’t miss (that might allow another piper to join if they ask nicely)? And secondly, would any of you kind souls be willing to pick up said piper from the airport and offer a small piece of carpet to sleep on that night?

I’ll be driving back to Salt Lake the next day with a friend so we can split up the hours behind the wheel and will be up and out pretty early the following morning. I don’t have a particular day of the week in mind just yet, so any good sessions I’d may be interested.

I know it’s a long shot at best, but I figured I’d ask.

Thanks all!

Now I KNOW there are SOME sessions up there right?! Even just to know where/when and a general report on what they’re like would be appreciated.

If you pull out of Salt Lake around 19:00 hrs, around 03:00 the next morning you’ll look outside the right window and see some weird-arsed, Space-Colony-looking powerplant near Pasco/Kennewick I think it is. Worth being awake to see it at night. It’s like the Emerald City in white.

Also, there is some session on 1st Ave Sunday nights at some pub with an upside-down boat over the fireplace. About three blocks south of the Public Markets and just south of the fountains.

Royce

Can’t think of the name at the moment.

Actually, it’s not looking like my work schedule will allow me to make more than a day of this trip. So probably flying in early on a Tuesday morning and driving back to SL that same day. sigh

Woulda been nice though. :frowning:

Thanks guys.

What  I thought you gigilo’s set your own work schedule :stuck_out_tongue:

My Seattle experience is out of date, but I recall Conor Byrne’s in Ballard and Owl n’ Thislte down town, and I know I’ve gone to some others in the past but alzheimer’s is taking hold.

The Vogue had ‘sessions’ on Sunday nights, but I don’t think they are the type you are looking for, then again the flogging reel might come in handy…
