After careful reflection, I realized the last of my conduct on this board toward Andrew was uncalled for and unfair.
I should not have slammed him for something that was unintentional on his part and completely misunderstood on mine.
Andrew and I actually have an interesting relationship and have spoken on the telephone several times since then. We are friendly and while we beg to differ on occassion we agree that an American and a Brit have no business trying to interpret each other’s writing without having spoken to each other first.
Andrew is best understood in person.
Much gets lost in the translation or in my case misinterpreted.
Well spoken, and I’m glad to hear that you and Andrew have become friends.
I hope he may sometime want to / be able to return to the boards.

P.S.

This is exactly spot-on. I don’t know how many times I have been involved in online confrontations on these boards over something that began as a poorly worded turn of phrase.
David, that was cool.
yes, Andrew at times can be provocative (wink, wink) he is passionate, and so are you, and i think it’s a great quality to have. if the two of you were not passionate, we would not have so much to learn from the two of you.
eilam.
