Posting question: storing password.

Sorry for the OT posting.
Is there any way to store my C&F password, so I don’t have to type it in each time I want to post something? I have already stored my username as a cookie, but can’t find a way to store the password. Thanks

Depends. What are you using for an operating system? Later versions of Windows have always asked, when you type in a password the first time, whether you want Windows to remember it to save you typing it each time.

If you are using Windows, any version after W95, you can probably reinitiate the process and get the storage option by deleting the C&F cookie(s). Make sure you do this when you’re not logged onto C&F.

Then go online, go top the board and log on. I think that would allow you to reset it. If you’re using a mac or unix box, I can’t help.

Now, isn’t this just typical of the way we are today!? I mean, we should be grateful for all the chances to improve our typing skills that this board gives us! Oh, I know, don’t thank me (blush) I know that I have a long way to go to catch up with some of you for long-winded, self-serving postings, but I’m trying my best… But this isn’t about me (it isn’t? – Hey!) - Now. Where was I? Oh, yes. I think we should strive to make our passwords as long and complex as possible. Take a tip from the Unix gurus among us! Add in uPpercAse characters aNdN9umb4ers - improve your memory right along with your typing! Let’s don’t be so lazy, people! What is it with you - you think computers were invented to simplify our lives? (LOL, in fact, ROFLMAO!) How naive! Ah, well, believe what you like. The Crystal People will understand… Oh, yes…
