Hmmmm - is it just me or does it often not function? Anyone Know why?

You arn’t set up to not recieve cookies are you?
Mine is only working intermittantly one all boards such as this one. I can come back a dozen times and it keeps me logged in, but then I’ll come back,often within minutes of the last visit, and I’m logged off. And I am set up to receive cookies. It’s not just this site, though, but all similar types of boards…Praise Whister, the Irish Translation Forum, etc. (and my daughter says the same thing is happening with her on the NeoPets boards).

um… I don’t think so coz I sometimes go in explorer and delete all the ones in there coz the list gets so loooooooooong… - could that be why then - if I delete cookies? (You can tell I’m not very technical can’t you - I always thought cookies were something I baked till relatively recently 
Getting rid of all cookies could definitly do it. There are ways around that. Im not sure what MIE and Netscape include as far as cookie managers, but I believe there are probably some freeware cookie managers that would take care of that. Windows itself offers to remembers passwords sometimes. Not sure if that works with cookies or what, or whether I’d trust it. BTW, if you are deleting your cookies so that they won’t know where you’ve been surfing to at work, that won’t help. They don’t look at your cookies to see that.
