I know it’s in the book “Ireland’s Best Slow Airs” but I don’t know about it being online for free.
One thing about that tune, getting the Cnat in tune is really important. You’ll need to use the most in-tune cross fingering for it, or it really stands out.
Do you mean the half-hole on B?
No, I mean cross fingering. I don’t usually half hole the Cnat.
I just discovered a really good place to do that though. In Rights of Man, an alternate opening has all triplets rather than dotted eighths and instead os doing B-Cnat-B trying to cross finger, I slide the top finger off the B hole halfway to get the Cnat and it’s a lot easier.
I bashed this out in a few minutes. I hope this is what you are after.

You’ll need an L in front of the :1/8, and I’d add Q:80 for the tempo, which will get it pretty close to the tempo of the recording on the accompanying CD.

yeah i didn’t like the sound of that cnatural either so i started to do a slow slide from b to b# just slowly partialy uncover and cover the whole twice sounds eerie and cool
I actually think you could err to the flat side and be safe.
Boy! I just saw the post title and thought you were going to tell us you’re a poor Irish Boy?? ![]()
Jim …
If you “copy” the ABC version cquick posted and go to this page at Concertina.net, then “paste” in the ABC Convert-A-Matic … you can have the ‘dots’. OR … I can just mail you a copy, if you want. ![]()
