Paddy Ward Flute Clip

I am in the market for a new flute, and would like to hear a clip of a Paddy Ward being played. Can someone point me to one in the clips thread, or post one here?

All three clips in my signature were made using a Ward flute. In fact, it’s the same flute owned by AaronM and flutefry, and later greenspiderweb, and now, I guess Sillydill.

That Ward (Hawkes copy-large holes, large bore) is very well made, loud, well in tune and responsive. I just turn out to like Rudallesque flutes (smaller bores, smaller holes) better, so at least on my part, me moving the flute on doesn’t imply anything bad about the flute. Aaron wanted to switch to a delrin flute for gigging and travelling, so sold it to me, so same goes for him I think.

I see Paddy is now making a Rudall, Rose and Carte copy which I’d love to try given my very favourable response to his Hawkes copy. I think Paddy’s flutes are very fairly priced, have a short waiting list, and their performance and finish are very good.
