I am a firm believer in the power of prayer.
When I had surgery for cancer a couple of years ago, the positive energy generated by the prayers, and good wishes of many good folk made a big, big difference to my recovery.
I have just found out that a dear Irish friend of mine here in Winnipeg has terminal cancer and only has 8-10 weeks to live. I would appreciate anyone who would take a few moments to send prayers, positive energy and thoughts her way. Her name is Mary, and she is one of sweetest, nicest ladies I know. Thanks all.
She’ll be on my prayer list Sue.
Best wishes
Gerry
Same here.

Mine as well. Though I may pray to different gods than you do, I really don’t think that matters; I’ll be sending the same good energy out there.
I too have lost someone close to me from cancer. I probably don’t even have to say this, but spend lots of time with her, even if she says she doesn’t want to see anybody because she’s so ill.
Best of luck to you both in this life and the next.
I’ll send good wishes and positive energy.
Soineanta, well and bravely spoken.
I lost my eldest brother to cancer.
The advice to spend together what time you can is good advice, for this time won’t ever come again.
Blessings on you and your friend,
–James

Whistlepeg, I too will be sending healing energy and my own form of prayers. May the two of you enjoy your time together and form many lasting memories to live on in your heart…and may your friend find great comfort in whatever faith sustains her.
Blessings,

Count me in on the prayers for Mary

I’ll be praying for Mary and for you as well, Peg.
I too will pray for Mary. May God comfort both of you.

Please know I will add her to my prayers.

Please send your friend’s last name to me in a private message so that I can add her to my congregation’s prayer list.
All the postive energy I can muster going Mary’s way.
May divine blessings and healing be upon her. My prayers are with you and your friend.
From your words, I believe Mary has the grace, and this is the positive energy. Help her keep it. Visit her often, hold her hand. Make sure the medics don’t hold back on the pain-relievers and let her go in peace.

As the pseudo-Yiddish saying goes " It vouldn’t hoit…" Consider the Jewish prayer side covered.. Paul
Both you and your friend will be in my prayers.

Prayers are added from me for you both.
Heavy duty prayers here. My thoughts go out to Mary and all who know and love her. Gm
…And the angels sang…
Thankyou everyone for your kind support, it means the world to me, Mary, her friends and family. Best wishes to you all.
