About a year ago, a friend of mine was diagnosed with stomach cancer and was given about 3-6 months to live. I posted the request for support on this site. Regardless of the diagnosis, she had surgery and chemotherapy. She is now on the way to recovery due in large part to the prayers and good wishes of everyone.
I would like to say a big thankyou to all of you who helped with your prayers and good thoughts at that time. The power of prayer is truly awesome. Thank you. ![]()

Good news, good news.
Indeed it is.
Life is precious.
That’s wonderful.
I remember that. What wonderful news.
Whether it be prayers or whatever, the power of positive thinking is awesome.

This is very good news!
Don’t forget in your thanksgiving to thank the doctors and nurses without whom your friend wouldn’t be recovering now. Because cancer treatments are so brutal, these folks often do a thankless job, and again and again they lose patients that they have come to know and care for.
Be sure and give them a hug or two and a heartfelt thank-you! ![]()
In the hopes of a speedy recovery to all,
