I am about to take a “vacation” from whistlemaking for medical reasons.
Because I don’t want to make commitments I can’t keep, I won’t be taking orders for whistles, and have asked Thom not to as well for an undetermined time. I am committed to finishing the whistles that are already paid for. Promised ones not paid for will have to be postponed indefinitely. I can also return payments made if you prefer. If you are in doubt of your status, want to be reimbursed, or have questions drop me an email.
Mack, I’m sorry to hear about this. Is it possible to say both “Take your time” and “Hurry back” without sounding contradictory? Anyway, I have one of your wonderful narrow bore Ds to keep me company until your return.
My best wishes,
Eric
(didn’t some other famous “Mack” say “I shall return”?)

Mack,
Your whistle allows me to have some of my most treasured practice time - at night while my family sleeps. Please know that you are in my prayers. Take care.
Mack,
Please have good and refreshing rest during your time away from whistlesmithing. You are in His hands, and there is no better place to be. My desire is that your “medical reasons” would soon be resolved, and that you will be able to return to your work of love in His time.
Listen carefully, my friend, and tell us what you hear. You are loved with a relentless love by the One Who is Love.
I am really sorry to hear that. Rest assured that myself, 4 ferrets, 2 cats and a mad dog will be thinking of you and if a haggis could sing I would make one sing for you. Take care and I love the whistle.
