A good vibes request

The daughter of one of my closest friends has recently found out that the bone-marrow transplant didn’t get all of her leukemia. She’s 31 years old and has a two-year-old son. I’m not sure of her odds of long-term survival, but they’re very low.

Any prayers, rituals, good vibes, or whatever, that you can send her way will be greatly appreciated.

Thankx, Charlie

Will do. Good vibes are headed her way.

(Oh great. Now I’ve got the Beach Boys’ Good Vibrations going through my head. Thanks a lot, Chas.)

Consider it done!

edit hugs and prayers!

I hope for the best.

Best wishes to your friend’s daughter, Chas!

I’m sorry for anyone to have such bad news. I will send good thoughts her way, chas.

Whenever I start to feel alone and sorry for myself I am reminded of people who are in the same boat or worse off than me. These are truly humbling (sorry but I can’t think of the word). My ggod thoughts go out to this young lady, her son and all who are close to her. I wish them strength, good friends, and inner peace during this difficult time. You sound like someone they can lean on, Charlie. For that I know they will be forever grateful.

I’ll add chas’ to my list of cancer prayers. Both my Aunt and Uncle have recently been diagnosed with cancer.

My thoughts and prayers are with her.

Hoping.

My thoughts and prayers are coming there way.

Bad show, Cran.

Best wishes and healing energy to her, her family, and her friends.

Healing thoughts from here too.

prayers and thoughts
(and everyone, give blood if you can, and register in the bone marrow database so that people like chas’ friend can have hope…)

Praying, Chas…please keep us posted when you can!

I have a special place in my heart for little children who lose their mothers. May this situation have a happy ending.

Misinterpretations are so easy on the Internet (or mabey memories are short) but hugs and prayers again!!

I didn’t mininterpret it, Cran – On the heels of your thread, I almost put in a tongue-in-cheek apology in my original request, but thought it might be misinterpreted. It’s a serious request, but that doesn’t mean we have to lose our senses of humor.

Thanks all for your thoughts and prayers – the only other time I posted something like this, my colleague made a miraculous recovery.

Charlie

I hope everything works out. It’s good that your friend has people like you around, who care so much. It helps.
