I’ve just come in to warm up a bit , we’re having an eclipse event here and it’s most spectacular! The Earth’s shadow is not quite centered on the moon, but I think it will be large enough to provide a total eclipse, about 15 minutes should tell. There is some very high and light cirrus cloud, not enough to obscure the moon, but providing some interesting effects with an aeroplane and its vapour trail casting a shadow on them, I’m presuming with light reflected from the Earth. I wish you could all duck outside and watch, but I’m afraid that this is as close as you will get.
Must go and watch the finish, at least until the moom drops below the tree-line.
