Excellent site !! I didn`t know his site existed. As a newbie flute enthusiast I will be spending a lot of time there.

You, sir, rock.

Thanks for posting the links.

a few of my favorite tunes!

It’s fascinating for me to see folks actually playing with Piper’s grip… I can’t for the life of me figure out how y’all can do it!!!

Thanks, Michael, for posting the additional flute videos. Besides being pleasing to look at, Elaine clearly demonstrates that she is much more than a pretty face. She makes playing the Irish flute at performance tempos look so effortless. I also enjoyed looking at her website, where she shares her other interests.

Folks, I want to put in a little plug for Michael here. To help with some of the recording and hosting expenses for Michael’s trad lessons website with the instructional videos, we have an opportunity to help support his efforts with a small paypal contribution. Thanks again, Michael, for your efforts.

The session on youtube sounds like it was fun…what great acoustics and no punters to dull the sound. Any chance you could name the tunes in the session, Michael? The first sounds a lot like Farewell to Connaught, but I only listened to the first few minutes.

… very nice in deed.
