When I log in at the website of Na Píobairí Uilleann
I don’t get the menu, instead I get this message
"your browser is incompatible with this feature.
We would like to apologise for this inconvenience and are currently working on a version of the site that will allow you to explore our site in full. The Na Píobairí Uilleann website uses JavaScript to create a set of pop-up menus for navigation. "
I never had problems, run java script and did not get an answer to my question about this at Na Píobairí Uilleann
I use Netscape 7.1. I had no problems connecting earlier this morning in pursuit of the Patrick Kelly CD. How old is your browser. Perhaps you really do need to upgrade (?).
The recent issue of An Píobaire says they are planning to come out with a new and improved web site this fall.
I seem to have trouble getting in to the tune archive and tune of the month. All I get is a couple of squares in the top left corner. I use IE5.5 on windows 98.
I get these too. Perhaps we will have to wait for the new and improved web site in the Fall. Have you written to NPU telling them you are having this problem?
No, not yet. I’ll do so shortly. When I saw this post I thought I’d chime in just to see if anybody else was having the same problem…and there you are too it seems. Maybe you’re right, we’ll just wait to see what the new site brings.
So did I, no more than 15 minutes ago and recieved an immediate response saying -
“Our website is in the process of being updated and as a result members
are experiencing intermittent problems similar to what you have
experienced. Please bear with us for the next couple of months, it will
truly be worth the wait!”
